in 1991 my brother had a severe accident wich left him in a coma for a month, than 2 years in a rehab facility,, he was on full disability and medicare, than after about 7 years, in wich time he did get better but not 100% , they made him see one of thier state dr's, he saw him for 5 minutes and said he was fine and took all his benifits away, he wasnt ready for working full time, so now he lives on the 1200 a month he recieved as a settlement after the accident, at least he gets that, but thse state dr's who think they know everything, the ones who decide who is disabled, well the 1 who saw my brother, cant speak for them all, but he didnt even listen to us, i was at the meeting because i had legal guardianship of my brother, he didnt want to hear from me all the problems my brother still had, sorry this is still long, im still bitter about the way they treated us, good luck to any1 trying to get ssd.
