For every one of you who can't figure out that the math just doesn't pan out, you will learn it the hard way. The doctors that you naively presume will always be there - won't be. Your town will suddenly have a very serious shortage of health providers. Your insurance will triple. You're doctor will be afraid to tell you what they really think. It's already happening all around you. It will get to a crisis point, and then the liberals will demand that the government bail them out. A new class of entitlements will be born...It's simply not that difficult to figure out.

WAKE UP AMERICA!

You are so right. The problem mainly lies with the people who are given health plans that we as taxpayers pay for. Because they don't have to pay for it they don't care what ever it costs. EVERYBODY should have some kind of co-pay, therefore leaving them with some responsibility. I have a friend who has gotten a free ride off of society with her & her sons medical insurance. It is thru our state and they pay 100% for everything ALWAYS! She is also pregnant again. Anyhow her son hurt his ribs one day and she let him play & go to school for 4 more days just so she could take him to the hospital at her convenience. (Which BTW was not necessary). Anyhow, so she could get immediate service she took him through the emergency room because it was a convenience for her and didn't have to pay anything for it. She uses emergency services all the time because it best fits her needs. WE pay it all just so she can have a cushy life. Makes me sick to see someone take advantage of our extremely generous society like that. If she had a co-pay for her decisions then she would not be able to abuse the system & the taxpayer that way. Also you gotta figure that there are literally thousands others that do the same thing to us on a daily basis. This is something that our society can & should control.
