I knew this country was in trouble because so many American citizens thought that it was entirely appropriate to torture those Iraq prisoners.

I wish that I could hope into a time machine and live out my days in the 1960's. Protesting was ok then. Now you are called a traitor if you criticize the government. And Americans are perfectly content to give away their rights and freedoms without a second thought.

I hope I understood your post correctly. I will admit that I am not the most articulate writer and sometimesI should re-read someone's post before responding, but then again, I do run a post though spell check once in a while which is more than I can say for some things I read.
