Maybe you didn't understand my point. It is important that we don't socialize healthcare. Because if that happens, then what will happen is the GOVERNMENT will have to ration healthcare.

In doing so, if you don't fit the criteria for a specific operation (such as you are older, and someone younger needs a heart bypass operation then guess what? Who do you think is NOT going to get their operation)?

I am far from heartless. That is just a reality of socializing healthcare. That would be an injustice for all. Why is it that those in Canada that can afford it come to the US for health care? Its that way because they CAN'T GET what they need in Canada.

Its just the way it is.
