Kimbell As in the other post, I could not agree with you more. Our country and its view/policy on health care is absurd. I at age 35 worry about what will happen at 64 when I qualify for medicare and there is no social security left for me. I am trying my best to plan for my family and the future but frankly I get scared. I made some poor decisions that lead me into my current stituation but my family and I are working are way out slowly. Huge medical bills do not help, because ..whatever I had done what not covered under my insurance. Personally, I think dental is the worst! Could be because as a child I had more dental work than most people will ever have in their entire lifetime. But anything I have done now at the dentist other than routine cleaning..is not covered. So you have to choose, good teeth or food for the month? just an example. I have a root canal and Best if kept off the board done. 1700$ later.. my insurance did not cover any of it. Why do I bother having it then? Cleanings are what 40$>? and you can always say " No I don't need exrays" and have cleaning done. Instead of paying 40 a month for dental. I guess I need to spend time researching and becoming more informed so I am armed with information when I begin the change of insurance come Oct. ( My employeers open enrollement is in Oct..I am trying my hardest to qualify but I doubt I will) That leaves me to outside choices. Those flyers for " cheap" health care are pretty much a lie. If you call them , you find out the prices listed are not accurate. Kimbell I agree with you and it should be obvious I am currently very unhappy with my insurance. I detest researching health care and speaking with thier " agents" I did not mean to ramble in your thread as I did in the other, this is just a subject on which I feel very strongly about. I also agree that every LEGAL citizen has a right to health care. Regards, Bathil |
