Re: Identical Fedex Tracking Numbers?

Airborne, not part of DHL sucks eggs.

Ditto that, ReOkie. Airborne is the ONLY one of the major package couriers that I have had consistent problems with. I have a long and nearly perfect history with Fedex, and I have used DHL and UPS frequently with very few, if any, notable problems. Airborne is another story.

I haven't decided if there is something rotten with their system (probable), or wether they just have an employment policy of hiring idiots. I now insist that merchants find another way to express items to me, if their default carrier is Airborne.

Airborne has some kind of cooperation agreement with the USPS, the result of which is that several times very heavy packages coming my way have been delivered by Airborne, not to me but to the Post Office! And I had to go down and stand in line at the package window and pick them up! Unbelievable!

Also: American Express has used Airborne exclusively for a number of years for rush delivery of replacement cards. Only problem is the replacement cards don't show up, (Airborne has a habit of returning items to sender as Undeliverable, whenever the driver doesn't feel like delivering it). Or an overnighted card will show up as much as a WEEK late. I recently wised up and started insisting Amex use UPS, which they will do if you ask. (I have half a dozen employees who have company cards, that's why so many replacement cards over the years).

None of this answers the question about the identical tracking numbers on two different Fedex packages. Could be a computer glitch. If logic fails, blame the machines.
