This thread has made me SERIOUSLY count my blessings. Big time. My hubby and kids (no small kids) all know exactly where mom's meds are. When the kids were younger, as now, my meds were in "childproof" Rx bottles and in the medicine cabinet. (Childproof being a bit of a joke, any kid can pop those tops quicker than Houdini). They could bring me my meds if I needed that much help. I have never once come up one pill short, and I'm sure you're all much like me, we know exactly what we have on hand, the needs is so great. Now that my oldest "kid" is going to make me a "nana", I'm going to get a locking med cabinet. Not for lack of trust, just because I'll never risk a future toddler/child running across something that looks yummy. ******************** Putting the fun back in dysfunctional |
