Re: Suspicious acting FedEx driver

I have shipments sent to the Fedex hub. I have the shipping address listed as the address of the hub. Then I receive a call from Fedex when it is available for pickup. I've done this the last 3 months without any problems.

My understanding from Fedex is, if the package is addressed to your home (or whatever location) they have to make at least one delivery attempt before they will hold it at the hub.

Don't know how UPS works. Some folks use Mail Boxes Etc for deliveries. Again, no first hand experience doing this. However, it is an actual address, not a PO Box, and UPS/Fedex apparently do deliver to those locations.

Saw an interesting article about a Pub in England that accepts packages for anyone in the village. It has increased the number of people coming in and having a pint or two when they pick up their packages. I think it's called a win/win situation.

Good luck,

Sam
