We have a very nicely finished off basement with comfortable old furniture and cable TV. Along the back wall there's a small access door that opens to reveal the water meter. By luck of design, there is a well hidden inner ledge above the door that I use to hide my meds bottle on. While it's accessable enough so you can read the meter, you have to move a lamp to open the door so it's not easily discovered. At least I hope no one else finds it in a fluke like I did, but so far so good. There has been a down side though. Because it's a TV room we entertain guests in now and again, there was the time that I desperately needed my meds but there was no way of getting to them without everyone seeing me. Call it hiding in plain sight!
