Wow Helene, I'm sorry to hear that. Its a scary thought when you have to have surgery and also take care of yourself and children and go without a paycheck also!!!!!! What kind of world do we live in????!!!!!
Being that I only work a part-time job I don't have any medical insurance, sick time, vacation days, or anything.
I never call in sick because I can't afford to call in sick.
I am a divorced mother of 3 children and I just don't know how I am going to handle loosing a week of pay.
