I hope today is a better and different day for you. Nothing is going to make the other day go away, as most have said - there is no reason ever for him to lay a hand on you. I also speak from experience. Yours sounds like a nightmare - not only the shower scene, but the police to top it off.

Please keep us posted. Did the officers actually seize your medication, or do both of you have your own prescriptions now? Are you living at the same place now and are things stable at this time? I hope you are not in pain - on top of the pain you are obviously feeling.
