my husband had a heroin problem 10 years ago and has done well over the years. when i started hydro a few months ago he always wanted some of them, he had a work injury and was in pain but i felt like i had to hide them becuz he was getting overboard. just recently i was going to get my last refill and we both agreed to cancel it which i did and we will go forward together. we both have pain not unmanagable and excedrin advil or tylenol will have to do. hydro was coming between us and we decided we are not going to throw our relationship away for opiates. i was really shocked that he suggested cancelling the hydro becuz i needed a support system myself and did not think i would find it in him. he has turned out to be my biggest supporter. i am sorry for the violence you went thru, can you live like that? take care of yourself first.
