I think that you can also get one of these pre paid credit cards at Wal-Mart as well.

You know one other idea is to purchase a MO from your bank. I have mentioned in another post that my husband needed to stop payment on a money order that he had sent for his business (turned out he had somewhat gotten scammed and the receiver of the MO was in no way going to cancel his order, so he had no choice but to attempt to get the bank to stop payment on the MO).

Luckily they did and this was a life saver. Therefore noy using a credit card is not as scary of a prospect (meaning you have the same sort of chargemback option with that MO as you would with a visa/mastercard).

I would even think that you are more protected going the bank MO route than purchasing a pre paid credit card. Just a thought anyway though!
