Re: Hydrocodone on Ebay

I doubt this is a hoax and personally think this guy, "Jimmy" has Hydrocodone and doesn't know it's a no no to sell or that is is generic Vicoden, Lortab, etc. Especially based on his great 400+ Ebay reputation.

I e-mailed him yesterday and he replied this morning with answers to my questions. Here are his answers:

1. The strength that descript on the bottle says 5/500
2. The imprint on the pill is M357, and the pill is white.

So that is the "dumb Jimmy" theory. There is, however, a remote possibility that the person posing as Jimmy is quite smart:

Perhaps this person stole "Jimmy's" account id/password (it happens alot), posted the hydro sale, gathered and kept the 30 or so e-mail addresses from bidders PLUS the several hundred e-mail addresses of non-bidders he must have received through eBay or directly (he posted his e-mail) before they ended his auction. Now he can sell to these folks directly outside of Ebay (either his "1 lot" or he could have boxes, or send nothing and clear town with $25k or so).

Now that Ebay has ended the auction, a buyer in need (or multiple buyers - heh heh) - who sees this guy's ("Jimmy Tsai") Ebay rep (400+ auctions) will now be likely do a deal off-Ebay with him by sending payment directly to Paypal, then "Jimmy" mails (or more likely doesn't) the product. A buyer gambles that Jimmy is going to send after they pay, but they have recourse via paypal (very weak) and charge back recourse via their cc if funded this way via paypal (very strong), so there is little risk to a buyer who arranges a deal, unless Jimmy is a fed.

If Jimmy actually sells off-Ebay now to one or multiple buyers (he could have cases of this stuff and be acting dumb remember), HE gambles on getting a fed purchaser, and perhaps getting busted for something whether he delivers or not.

But like I said, if he is really smart, he stole this guy's Ebay account with a great reputation, put this auction up, got a list of hundreds of names & e-mail addresses that will buy off-Ebay based on this guy's Ebay rep. This guy has setup an unregistered Paypal account with bogus data and will attempt to sell this lot a few hundred times and skip with $25k or more. (Again, I seriously doubt it, but this "smart Jimmy" theory could happen without much difficulty). He couldn't have picked a better product or time.

Anyway, since EBAY ended the Hydro auction, you may want to bid on ANOTHER EBAY AUCTION Jimmy is currently running for meds with 4 days to go. Good luck:
