I, too, am glad alcohol holds no attraction for me. Definitely can be dangerous, especially when combined with benzos. 
I don't remember how much Valium & liquor Karen Ann Quinlan had but that was what was supposed to have put her into a "permanent vegitative state" as they say in the medical biz. If memory serves, it may have been as small an amount as you say, Cypress. Wow! Scary stuff!
