Clay Fuchs Conviction Information

Hi everyone - My name is Angela Fuchs. I am also Clay Fuchs x/wife. We share a 4 year old son and have a very close friendship with each other. The last 36 hours has devistated our entire family. We never thought things would happen the way they did. Clay is looking at a minimum of 20 years at his sentencing hearring. We were told that he would not be taken in to custody untill his sentencing hearring, so we put off telling our son about Daddy maybe going away for a while. Whatever the outcome of the verdict, we still thought we woudld have time to prepare ourselves menatlly. Well, the prosecutor would have none of that. He argued that Clay should be detained for fear of jumping bond. The judge was reluctant, but because the charges carry a minumum of 20 years, the judge had to keep him according to sentenciong guidelines. Clay is a very good person and he did NOT BREAK any laws. Our entire family will do whatever they have to do in order to make sure he gets a fair and just trial w/out people lying in order to save their own. That was the worst part - watching people lie through their teeth because of deals they had made with the federal prosecutor. Please keep us in your prayers.
