I use USPS for EVERYTHING I ship. (I sell books online, so know my neighborhood postal service workers very well--no cute ones, tho! ![]() The internet company I work for (women's clothing) ships everything UPS (Saver for Next Day Air)... In four years running my own business using USPS (about 50% of my business is international, so it goes Global Priority Mail Flat Rate for $9.00 anywhere in the world for 2-4 day delivery) I have NEVER had anything get lost--even using Media Mail for most of my domestic shipments. However, UPS consistently loses (how can you "lose" a package that is supposedly scanned from every point???) misdirects or damages the shipments for the company I work for. I'll admit that I don't do as much shipping as my employer, but my business doesn't have a full-time staff of 6 just to deal with shipment issues, either!!! My vote is for the USPS--and they don't "take names" and have a more anonymous shipping system--which suits me just fine! If you want something tracked, you pay 40 cents for it. Done deal. Take care- night_shade |
