Re: Pain+Painmeds=drug seeker "Not"

Just a quick comment, I found a great PM specialist in my own backyard who takes the time to listen to me, test me, and prescribe appropriate medicines for my blown disks and fibromyalgia. However, I am becoming tolerant to my pain medication, and I am afraid to ask for something stronger because I don't want to lose my doc and be labeled a drug seeker, thus cutting me off from pain management. I have an appt this week, and I have to bring it up, because the temptation to DD is there just to manage my pain. Heaven knows I have records! I do not want to do anything illegal with OP's, and IOP's to me are just too risky. I hope that we all get the care we need, but given the current state of our government I feel that is not possible, and that really makes me angry with the so called "War on Drugs". More like a war on US citizens, but that is my personal opinion. Just my 2 cents.

Regards,
Fred

P.S. I am very thankful for finding this board, you all have helped so much.
