Don't give up on the shots yet...the first shot did nothing for me either...made the pain even worse. The second one seemed to work for a couple of days. I had my third one last Thursday, and am happy to say that it is still working!!!! At least on my lower back and hip. I am having problems with my neck and shoulders, but that's a fairly new problem (only about a week old), and the shots weren't designed to help that.
