Looks like we might be seeing ER Dilaudid coming soon! Here is some info on the new HydromorphContin(C2) that I heard about:

Our friends at Purdue are coming out with the extended release forms of hydromorphone in the US. It is due out in the next two years. It is unbelievable to me that they even got (or will get) this drug approved in the US after all the hysteria about Oxycontin. I believe it is already approved in Canada.

The pills will be in 12 hour form and will be available in the following 5 dosages:

3mg Orange Caps (roughly equal to 10mg OC)
6mg Pink Caps (20mg OC)
12mg Green Caps (30mg OC)
24mg Grey Caps (60mg OC)
30mg Red Caps (80mg OC)

I have a feeling the 30mg red caps will quickly become legends in their own time.

PS I once had a job interview at Purdue and one of the managers proudly refered to her company as "America's legal drug dealer." Of course I wasn't really listening to her because I was more focused on finding out where they kept the companies product samples..lol
