That may well be true, but wether or not your Primary Care doc finds out about the scripts you get from the doc at the OP is probably not what you should be worried about. As Sweetz has pointed out, you are double dipping. Many OPs are related and share information, and there are some states where prescriptions for certain drugs are supposed to be cross-indexed to expose "doctor shoppers". For example, Florida has been trying to establish a statewide database for this purpose.

I guess it's extremely unlikely at the present time, but if you were unlucky enough that your Primary Care doc's prescriptions, and those of your OP pharmacy, happened to be filled in the same state, or even by the same pharmacy chain, you might not be able to prevent this information from being "shared".
