I have to use the generics because of insurance reasons but I have usually taken the generic of Lortab 10/650. My last perscription I was changed to Norco/325. The new genric bottle of Norcos also said hydrocodone 10 with the only diference , other than how they worked, was that the norco genric had less tylenol (or whatever they add to the hydrocodone). I say that the Norcos did not work as well for one reason. My insurance started making us use Medco mail service for our perscriptions. I have found that several other perscriptions from Medco are not as potent as the generics that I used to get at Walgreen's drugstores. Is it my imagination or possibly I am correct that Medco is cutting corners so to speak by not putting enough of the narcotic in their drugs. Or is there really a difference in the 2 drugs? I have also found that the drugs from Medco did not work as long. I could usually go all day with the pain killers from Walgreens but the ones from Medco had erratic acting times. In other words, one pill last 12 hours and then another pill might not work at all or only work for say 4 hours. I suspect that Medco products are bad news. Any information please. |
