Soma can be addictive if used regularly over a long period of time or at higher than therapeutic doses. While everyone's individual body chemistry is unique, the vast majority find soma to be far less addicting than hydro or benzos.

As far as effects go, at therapeutic doses you can expect (at least initially) to feel drowsiness & relaxed. If abused, the effect is akin to being drunk with no alcohol - stumbling, slurring of speech, etc.
