Wow... I have had "friends" who, once they knew I had back problems then surgery wanted to know if I had any "extra" too. The disappointment when I say, "sorry, I needed them all, that surgery sure hurt" is all over their faces and in their voice.
I feel like Prettyday, if you need pain medication fine, but please go get your own.
It is awful to have to hide your medication in your own home, but it is prudent. Until someone knows what it is like to ration pain control sparingly, they have no clue and no respect for what we go through.
