I would think if they catch this, rather than make something up, like gee I forgot I just ordered...what's wrong with the truth? They'd likely say they could not fill it without a police report to document the loss. But simply telling the truth (hey my meds were stolen and I hated to spend the money, but I had to get another script because I knew I was too early to refill) would seem like your best bet. The worst they can do is say they feel bad for you but they cannot do it. Then you'd have no choice but to find an unaffiliated doc/pharma to tied you over. You would likely not lose the script, it would just be delayed until you finish up the first one, but at least you are not red flagged for double dipping (I'd hope) Or, you could bite the bullit and do one of the "free/cheap (yet overpriced) places" for this month only.

Don't you hate that. I had a roomate who stole my meds once. I had a legit precription, a legit condition and had rationed myself to stretch out my meds as long as possible. And he took half of them because he said they really helped with his hangovers!!! UGH!!! I feel for you my friend.
