I've tried both, am taking .5 Xanax(generic Azor, actually)
right now. It is very good at getting rid of the panic attacks, but I agree, it makes me so dopey that I feel unable to function at times. Not euphoric like a good opiate, either. I think next time I will go back to good old diazapam. BTW, all benzo's are addictive, but I have found for myself this was not an issue if used, not abused.
