AngelWolf - I know I'm new here and I've never posted anything directly to you, but. . . Oh My Lord! There is not an adjective good enough to describe how upset I was to read your first post. I've had some pretty shoddy treatment in the ER (me and my stupid gall stones) but your experience takes the cake.

I've had a few migraines in my life. I can barely handle it in the comfort of my own home. I can only imagine how bad it must have been for you in an ER exam room. And then the whole medication thing. . .so Demerol is evil, huh? What a bunch of -- well, I really can't post words like that in this forum.
