I stand corrected.

After reading jpolito's e-mail I thought I would take a look and see if Doctors were commonly using this to treat migraines. Sure enough they are. (see web page above)

This doesn't really change my opinion on their choice of medication in Angels treatment, it just means the Angel really couldn't complain to them about their giving her improper medications. However when someone goes to the ER because they are in so much pain it's not really appropriate for them to use you as their lab rat. That would be the time for them to use tested methods or methods that have worked for you in the past.

There are medications like Imitrex that are specifically made for migraines. There are also medications that are specifically made for pain. They could've used one of those right away.

I still have grave concerns over medical treatment methods applied when Doctor's fear the DEA.
