Re: Opiate Treatment of Refractory Depression

ok, quick question. does buprenorphine(temgesic) in itself act as an opioid antagonist? or is it the addition of another substance (naloxone)as such that makes it that way (suboxone)? i have been wondering that for a while. i apologize if that has been answered on your post, but as i can't sit in front of my computer long enough to digest all of that, i thought i'd ask. plus, my adhd doesn't help.

TIA!

cheers, c.(angel)

p.s. interesting article though... what's the date on it? oh, nevermind...1995, just caught that. i wonder why nothing more has come from it in the years between then and now....
