Do you think the older, near retirement age doctors are better or worse than a younger doctor that has a few years of experience under their belt?

The newer docs have more up to-date training. But they seem more business oriented.

The older doctors that are unfortunately retiring who started practicing in the 1950's, 60's, 70's or maybe the 80's seem to consider medicine more a claaing.

They also seem less inclined to send you for expensive tests. And they sem more sympathetic to pain issues.

The younger ones seem to concerned of putting their license at risk than helping people in pain.
