you were very lucky. Even if the pharms sell you non-narcotic meds w/o a script, the TJ cops will still shake you down w/o mex scripts. What you are doing is illegal in mexico.

Watch out as some pharms work with TJ cops. One of my friends just got stopped by a TJ cop as he stepped out of a pharmacy. Fortunately, he had the pink customer copy of the script for his valium. I've known of people threatened to be jailed for 1 Viagra pill w/o a script if they don't pay a fine right $there$. Always get a mex script for all meds. Don't learn the hard way.
