I have also visited TJ but with different results. It's a [censored] shoot. There are several types of Police and they are all poorly paid. It sounds like this was a typical shakedown, to them it was another day at the office. Remember, even if a Mexican Police officer rapes an American and found guilty (somehow), the penalty is only suspension.
