I'm not getting the thread about the people arrested in Mexico, what happened?

Hi, bango, no need trying to argue your point w/this guy. Just read his posts and you'll see my point.

I think that it's ashame that the only language we are forced to learn in America is English. In Europe, people speak all kinds of languages and in my opinion, that makes them more intelligent and willing to recognize that if you want to communicate you better be able to speak more than one language, otherwise you're just limiting yourself. You're not getting any kind of message across if you can only speak English. You're only speaking to English speaking people. Self limitations. Yes, it's recommended that if someone from another country is going to move here that they should speak English, it's common sense, but I would say that if they didn't learn it before coming here that eventually they will learn it.

In Europe they call Americans a-M-O-R-E-i-c-a-n-s. It seems we are never satisfied, give us biggie fries, biggie cokes, and get the bleep out of our way because we are going to liberate you whether you like it or not, especially if you have something we want!

I wish I spoke another language, but I can only speak English. It's like eating the same thing for dinner every night!
