This is off topic and a late reply, for that I'm sorry. But I can't just let it go without commenting on `how myopic, unintelligent, racist one peron in this thread is.

I'm am ashamed on a regular basis to be an US citizen. When I travel abroad and I'm asked where I'm from I reluctantly say American with hoped that they will think I might be from Mexico or Canada. Since believe it or not,when you say American, it means you from one of many places, not necessarily the US. That's another very annoying geocentric trait us US citizens enjoy.

They are undocumented immigrants - they aren't illegal aliens as you would like to call them. Wha'ts wrong with addressing people, groups, nationalities, with the proper terms? Nothing I think, but you apparently think that by using terminology that rises you above the other person or group, it somehow makes you better. It does the exact opposite.

So BamaChick, I do apologize about the certain person. Since I'm a whitebread caucasion I'll never know the extent of what it's like to be sidelined by racism and government policies that disadvantage everyone except the white male, I do sympathize with those who have to live it in one form or another on a near daily basis.

To the certain poster, grow up, treat people with respect, use your brain, don't follow the heard, and try to represent the US in a manner that makes people proud to be citizens here and not the prototypical redneck who drives a domestic car (most likely truck) and has a mullet, or well fond memories of that. Frankly,. I'd rather have hispanic heritage and hispanic cultural qualties than that of a american who wears a mullet and what it encompasses.
