Just my 2 cents... I ALWAYS try and look several times poorer than I really am. My first trip to Mexico I looked like an American with money, and everyone I ran into thought I had enough money to pay high prices.

My second, third, forth, etc trips I wore T-shirt, and shorts, that were vintage 1985. I wasnt approached by everyone who owned a shop, because I didnt appear to have any money. I also felt I got a better deal on my meds, and got hasseled less by shop owners. Maybe my second trip I was a little more seasoned, and knew how to strike a deal.

Point is dont go to Mexico lookin like a million bucks, unless you want to pay top dollar, and want to get mugged or killed by the locals. No offense Josh8, but maybe thats why you payed $2 per 10mg valium..OUCH..
