My husband and I crossed into Mexico from El Paso, TX on Dec. 9, 2003. We went into Juarez to get some antibiotics for his bronchitis. I took my empty hydro bottle to see about availability of 10/325's. I pulled the bottle out at the first pharmacy and asked if they had this med available. The pharmacist never even batted an eye and said yes, she had it and it was $10 per pill. I asked if she had anything equivalent to that and she said only Tylenol #3 and that was $45 for 30 pills. I didn't buy either, but she was willing to sell without any questions. I did buy some generic Ultram while there. Prices on that were good. I paid $30 for a bottle of #100 50mg tramadol. When we left Mexico and went through customs, they ask what was your reason for being in Mexico. We stated we bought meds for hubby's bronchitis. I had the pharmacy bag in my hand and they never looked in it or anything. We were just waved through and that was all. Very painless....no searches, dogs, interrogations, etc....I think these are all urban myths to scare people. If anyone wants the name of the pharmacy in Juarez that sells this stuff, just PM me and I will be happy to give you the name of it. Good luck shopping and stay pain free!!
